About

The European Health Economics Association (EuHEA) is an association of associations. EuHEA's purpose is to promote cooperation among all national health economics associations and groups in Europe and to profile and foster health economics at European universities. EuHEA’s supreme organ is the Assembly of Delegates, mandated by EuHEA's members. The Executive Committee is responsible for the main operations of EuHEA. It comprises the president, the past president, the president-elect, the executive secretary, the chair of the Early Career Committee, and three additional ordinary members.

EuHEA organizes biannually the EuHEA Conference, a yearly EuHEA Ph.D. Student-Supervisor Conference, and the weekly online EuHEA Seminar Series during spring and fall (since 2020).

EuHEA has always emphasized training, mentoring, and support for Ph.D. students and early career researchers. To this end, the Early Career Committee, which is chaired by an early career researcher, takes a lead role in organizing the EuHEA Ph.D. Student-Supervisor Conferences and additional workshops, training, and networking events supported by EuHEA. There are also dedicated sessions during the biannual EuHEA Conferences for young academics to build up and develop their career in health economics.
