2021 student-supervisor conference

September 1st-3rd

Rotterdam, The Netherlands

On behalf of the European Health Economics Association it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 8th EuHEA PhD Student-Supervisor and Early Career Researcher Conference, taking place between the 1st and 3rd of September 2021, at Erasmus University Rotterdam, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

As we are unable to guarantee an in-person event in September the conference will be online by default and attendance will be free of charge. The committee will review the situation in June to assess the possibility of a hybrid in-person/online conference. All attendees will be notified of this decision by June 30th and given the possibility of registering to the in-person event, if applicable. Whatever the circumstances, we are certain that this year’s edition will be a success.

The conference presents a valuable opportunity for PhD students and young researchers in the field of health economics to present their on-going research and receive important feedback from experienced colleagues with expertise in their field of study. It provides an excellent platform to advance on-going research, engage in (online and hopefully in-person) networking with peers, and gain new insights and collaborations with other researchers who are interested in the same field.

The engagement of supervisors is paramount to this conference, as they play a unique role in accompanying their students while at the same time providing valuable formal and informal feedback to the other participants. It is now the hallmark of this conference and the most valuable component as per past participants’ feedback, both students and supervisors.

Abstract submission is now open.

More information on the registration process and other details will be provided on this page shortly.
