The 9th Annual EuHEA PhD Conference will be organised by the National University of Ireland, Galway and held in the Galway Bay Hotel from 29th – 31st August 2022 (https://www.galwaybayhotel.net/). The conference will start at 11.30pm on Monday 29th and finish at 1.30pm on Wednesday 31st August 2022. The Conference is ‘in-person’ only and sessions will not be recorded or livestreamed.

The keynote speaker will be Prof. Matt Sutton, Chair of Health Economics and joint-lead of the Health Organisation, Policy and Economics (HOPE) research group at the University of Manchester.

The conference presents a valuable opportunity for PhD students and early career researchers in the field of health economics to present their on-going research and receive important feedback from colleagues with expertise in their field of study. It also provides an excellent opportunity to network with peers, gain new insights, and foster collaboration with others in the same field.

Note for students from Ukraine

In light of the continuing war and humanitarian crisis, students and post-doctoral researchers registered at universities in Ukraine do not have to pay registration fees. Limited scholarships for travel and accommodation are also available.
